THE CREED of the FCDSS:

I believe that the Truth can be known, once all the facts are available, even if it violates everything I thought was real. I also believe that the Universe is vast and unknowable, and does not exist for our sake.

I believe that the strangeness of the Universe and what may lie beyond it is sufficient to disrupt the sanity of others. Therefore, I believe in the role model of Dana Scully, Scientist, the Rational and the Adorable, and in the saving principle of Her Cosmic Cuteness. both in Her Beauty and in Her Wit.

I believe in the Fellowship of like-minded Rational Cosmicists, and in the duty to support each other in our pursuit of the Truth, and in the Living Emblem of that Truth that shall never die.
